Post double marathon blues

Thank goodness I don't remember the truck my body is saying hit me over the weekend.

Plan executed, albeit slowly

It was hot. I sweat like a big dog. I was slow. I had a lot of fun. I finished...my second marathon in two weeks. Now I don't have to do that again, so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

It's a plan

I have my Illinois Marathon game plan for tomorrow on the front of my shirt because, you know, I wouldn't want forget or anything.

On the path less traveled

Running is good. Running on trails, in the woods, along a river, with the sun rising is awesome.

Root, root, root for the dropouts

So the team that got in trouble for its low graduation rate beat the team that has no intention of graduating its players. Let's celebrate!
